The legend was born more than 60 years ago, when entire generations took to the roads and discovered Europe from behind the wheel of the first Combi converted by Westfalia. A pioneer in the leisure vehicle market, Westfalia has become a benchmark the world over, and has many passionate fans who are always keen to share their views on all things Westfalia.

We set off for a picnic by the sea whenever possible. The advantage is that you get out of the house and the van is fully stocked. The van is ready 24 hours a day, ready to take off. You leave home, and immediately you’re on holiday. It’s such a pleasure!
Whatever the year of manufacture, we always have a comfortable, top-of-the-range vehicle in terms of finish, adaptability and interior functionality. To fit so many things and so much storage in to such a small space, and to live with four people in the same space is truly phenomenal.

Our main priority was to enjoy a large longitudinal bed, which the slide-out fully allows. After nearly 2 years with the James Cook, we haven’t had any problems and are still very happy with our choice.
